After debuting at No. 1 last week, Various Artists’s album Sanremo 1955 falls to No. 2 with 226,000, a sales slide of 97%. I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Sanremo 1955′ really is amazing. Various Artists’s debut, ‘Sanremo 1955′, does not fit easily into one genre. If I may, I suggest “Canto nella valle (Nuccia Bongiovanni con Bruno Pallesi e con Radio Boys)”. That one song is amazing!
Buongiorno tristezza (Claudio Villa) (3:13) a good melody. Buongiorno Tristezza (Tullio Pane) is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Che fai tu luna in ciel (Jula De Palma) is one of the coolest songs Various Artists has ever recorded. Ci ciu ci (cantava Un Usignol) (Narciso Parigi con Radio Boys) is a very catchy tune. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. If you are a Various Artists fan, you will love Era Un Omino (Piccino Piccino) (Clara Jaione con Radio Boys). Era un omino (piccino piccino) (Nella Colombo, Bruno Rosettani & Trio Aurora) is excellent and different song. I tre timidi (Nuccia Bongiovanni e Radio Boys) is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Il primo viaggio (Nuccia Bongiovanni e Bruno Pallesi) is almost impossible to review. Various Artists sings Il torrente (Claudio Villa) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Il torrente (Tullio Pane). Incantatella (Claudio Villa) - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Incantatella (Narciso Parigi) is simply amazing. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Various Artists. Un cuore (Gianni Ravera) is a great opener for Sanremo 1955. I like Una fotografia nella cornice (Antonio Basurto) because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Una fotografia nella cornice (Natalino Otto) has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Zucchero e pepe (Bruno Rosettani con Trio Aurora) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Zucchero e pepe (Clara Jaione e Radio Boys) marked the continuation of Various Artists in style evolution.
