Now signed to Various Artists’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Sanremo 1982″ leads Various Artists’s back-to-school campaign. On the Estonia charts, superstar Various Artists’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Jim Jones has compared writing for Various Artists’s new album to that on ‘Sanremo 1982′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. If you want to hear real Pop, get this record now!
Felicit (Albano & Romina Power) - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Soli (Drupi) is a striking and quite long song. Solo grazie (Giuseppe Cionfoli) - Various Artists first major hit. Un’altra vita un altro amore (Christian) is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Voice and instruments in Beguine (Jimmy Fontana) complement each other. Blue Hotel (Lene Lovich) is a strong cut, one of many. A unique and uplifting song. E Non Finisce Mica Il Cielo (Mia Martini) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. It’s such an underrated song. Lisa (Stefano Sani) is the song that really did it for me. Marinai (Le Orme) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Only one song from Sanremo 1982 named Non voglio ali (Riccardo Del Turco) really got me. Ping Pong (Plastic Bertrand) was the first single release from the album Sanremo 1982. Quando incontri l’amore (Milk & Cofee) on Sanremo 1982 is solid and easy to listen to. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Sei la mia donna (Mal) is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Strano momento (Roberto Soffici) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. From the moment you listen to Tu stai (Bobby Solo) you’re hooked. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. The song Vado al massimo (Vasco Rossi) ending is my favorite… so catchy!
