On You and me both album, Various Artists have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
When I listen to Softly Over in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Sweet Thing is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Mr. Blue is astounding. Once you hear Good Times, you will listen to it over and over. Walk Away From Love is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Ode To Boy is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Various Artists breathes new life into the music in Unmarked. Various Artists emotions are reflected through Anyone. In Happy People the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect.
