I am not a real Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Bollicine’ really is amazing. Since Vasco Rossi last CD (Bollicine) on Sparrow Records back in 1983, I have felt a massive void in my life. On Bollicine album, Vasco Rossi have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Una canzone per te is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Vocals of Vasco Rossi in Portatemi Dio really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. After about the third Vita spericolata listen through, I began to believe this song is Vasco Rossi’s essence. A unique and uplifting song. Giocala is a very catchy tune. Vasco Rossi must have run out of lyrics on the next track Ultimo domicilio conosciuto. Mi piaci perche (3:18) a good melody.
