It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Victor Manuel energies, virtually a rebirth. After seeing Asturias, I had to have a good Victor Manuel cd. There is so much to love about Victor Manuel, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Smart music for smart people.
Ay amor stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. I like the idea behind Dejame en paz. Desde mi libertad (3:28) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! El abuelo Vhctor is really the reason why I recommend buying Victor y Ana en vivo. I like to sing along with El hombre del piano, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. I love the melodic melody of La muralla and to this day it makes me feel good. Voice and instruments in Luna complement each other. A great put together song. I like the agression and power of Solo le pido a Dios. This track is clearly meant to showcase Victor Manuel’s vocal abilities.
