It’s natural for Vladimir Cosma to take a stab at ‘La Cabra’ considering her long-professed love for Led Zeppelin. After seeing La Cabra, I had to have a good Vladimir Cosma cd. La Chevre (Film De Francis Veber) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Canela. Put La Tortuga into car stereo for your highway driving Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Some of the arrangements found on La Chevre (Film De Francis Veber) are surprisingly edgy.
