Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Wagner, Richard on ‘Act I: Vorspiel (Orchester)’. It has been fourteen years Wagner, Richard’ last studio CD, “Tristan Und Isolde” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. When you buy a Wagner, Richard album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Wagner, Richard “Tristan Und Isolde” is an amazing album.
Act I: Westwaerts Schweift Der Blick (Isolde, Brangaene, Stimme Eines Jungen Seemanns) is outstanding work of Wagner, Richard. Act I: Frisch Weht Der Wind Der Heimat Zu (Die Vorigen, Tristan, Kurwenal, Schiffsvolk, Ritter) is one of the more up-tempo songs on Tristan Und Isolde. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Nice and different song. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. After about the third Act I: Tristan! Isolde! Treuloser Holder! (Tristan, Isolde, Brangaene, Spaeter Kurwenal, Schiffsvolk, Ritter) listen through, I began to believe this song is Wagner, Richard’s essence. Get Tristan Und Isolde and turn on Act Ii: Vorspiel (Orchester) if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Act Ii: Hoerst Du Sie Noch? (Isolde, Brangaene) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Act Ii: Isolde! Geliebte! - Tristan! Geliebter! (Tristan, Isolde) one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Act Ii: O Sink Hernieder, Nacht Der Liebe (Tristan, Isolde) is nothing but pure genius. Such hits like Act Ii: Einsam Wachendin Der Nacht (Tristan, Isolde) will leave you hooked. Act Ii: Lausch, Geliebter! Lass Mich Sterben! (Tristan, Isolde) has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Act Ii: Doch Unsere Liebe, Heisst Sie Nicht Tristan Und Isolde (Tristan, Isolde) is one of these floating songs. A unique and uplifting song. Act Ii: Rette Dich, Tristan! (Die Vorigen, Kurwenal, Brangaene, Marke, Melot, Hofleute) which is my favorite is a truly Wagner, Richard sounding song. Song Act Ii: Tatest Du’s Wirklich? Waehnst Du Das? (Marke) is actually a funny song. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Act Iii: (Massig Langsam; Orchester) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Wagner, Richard is all about. No Wagner, Richard song has come close to capturing my attention as Act Iii: Man Hoert Einen Hirtenreigen (Orchester) did. This is one hell of a track. Act Iii: Hei Nun! Wie Du Kamst? (Kurwenal, Trjstan) one of the best in my collection. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Wagner, Richard. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Tristan Und Isolde. Act Iii: O Diese Sonne! Ha, Dieser Tag! (Tristan, Isolde, Kurwenal) is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Act Iii: Ha! Ich Bin’s, Ich Bin’s, Suessester Freund! (Isolde) is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. First time I heard Act Iii: Kurwenal! Hoer! Ein Zweites Schiff! (Die Vorigen, Der Hirt, Der Steuermann, Melot, Brangaene, Marke, Ritter) was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Act Iii: Mild Und Leise Wie Er Laechelt (Isolde) is a astounding song and it grows on you.
