On the USA charts, superstar Wham!’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Now signed to Wham!’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Fantastic” leads Wham!’s back-to-school campaign. Lead single “Bad Boys” and “A Ray Of Sunshine” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
When I listen to A Ray Of Sunshine in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Love Machine is a fine track on any terms. Wham Rap (Enjoy What You Do) is one of the best records ever. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Love Machine (MIX) - My least favorite song on this album. I like the agression and power of Club Tropicana. Nothing Look Same In Light very upbeat. Come On - To me, this is the best song on the Fantastic. Music in Young Guns (Go For It) is astounding as in all tracks of Fantastic. Still going through Fantastic and coming to appreciate Nothing Look Same In Light MIX more and more with every listen.
