I am not a real Rock: Hard-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘No Smoke Without Fire’ really is amazing. No Smoke Without Fire isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Since completing 1978’s ‘You See Red’, Wishbone Ash fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album is in perfect progression from Wishbone Ash!
Baby The Angels Are Here is astounding. Don’t judge Ships In The Sky on the first listening. Stand and Deliver is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Anger In Harmony is a gorgeous, simple song by Wishbone Ash at the top of his game. Like A Child is the most memorable and perfect. A unique and uplifting song.
