Baby cow-boy has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. ZECCHINO D ORO sings Baciccia il pirata in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. This track is full of harmonies and gets 13 Zecchino D’ Oro off to a relaxing start. Il caff della Peppina is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through 13 Zecchino D’ Oro. The opening track Il gamberetto Pietro is very much like you would expect from other albums. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Il sorpassista - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. I now have La corriera del far west as one of my personal favorites. La ninnananna degli animaletti - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Partiam si si partiam is the more seemingly obscure song on 13 Zecchino D’ Oro that bear up best to repeated listening. A unique and uplifting song.
