After seeing enta quaranta, I had to have a good ZECCHINO D ORO cd. IF YOU LIKE ALL ZECCHINO D ORO’S SONG GO FOR IT! eleven years ago, ZECCHINO D ORO briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “ccolo indiano”. IT makes me wanna dance!
Once ccolo indiano gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of ZECCHINO D ORO. I like to sing along with canzone dei poeti, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. era una volta is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. stelle is the more seemingly obscure song on 3 Zecchino D’ Oro that bear up best to repeated listening. stini e grembiulini one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Listening to rotondo (col mio mondo) you can hear that ZECCHINO D ORO has still amazing chemistry with band members. This is probably my favorite song on the album. After you’ve listened to altalena, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. barchetta di carta is astounding.
