On 8 Zecchino D’ Oro album, ZECCHINO D ORO have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I am not a real Chorus music type of person, but i have to admit ‘8 Zecchino D’ Oro’ really is amazing. 8 Zecchino D’ Oro isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about ZECCHINO D ORO ever.
Listening to Girotondo in tutto il mondo you can hear that ZECCHINO D ORO has still amazing chemistry with band members. Some of the arrangements found on 8 Zecchino D’ Oro are surprisingly edgy. Musically Il dito in bocca is superior to other tracks in 8 Zecchino D’ Oro. A great put together song. Il pinguino Belisario is the first taste of the new album. I like L ochetta Gelsomina because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. What sets La Bella - La Figlia del Re apart is ZECCHINO D ORO’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Song Orazio il cane dello spazio is actually a funny song. ZECCHINO D ORO sings his heart out in Quando l ora di fare la nanna. Se osassi without a doubt is the standout song of 8 Zecchino D’ Oro. Sgniff e Sgnaff is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything ZECCHINO D ORO released so far.
