four years ago, ZZ Top briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “I Wanna Drive You Home”. This album has some very good songs like Tube Snake Boogie and I Wanna Drive You Home. I am not a real Rock: Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘El Loco’ really is amazing. ZZ Top breathes new life into the music in I Wanna Drive You Home. Ten Foot Pole very upbeat. The first time I listened to Leila I was struck by its cool sound. I came to like Don’t Tease Me. In It’s So Hard ZZ Top is at his best. Pearl Necklace without a doubt is the standout song of El Loco. Groovy Little Hippie Pad is the most memorable and cool. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Heaven, Hell Or Houston. Party On The Patio sets the tone for the entire album.
